Quote by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
How come no one says anything quotable anymore? I mean, honestly, 90% of quotes I hear are from centuries back. And 67% of statistics are made up on the spot.
I got an incense burner today :) And some incense, of course. It smells gooooddd. I'll be honest, many of the scents I smelled were pretty bad. But I got strawberry, honey almond, rose, cinnamon, and love... I think.
I'm going to attempt to make hummus tomorrow. I know I could buy it, but I think it would be more fun to make it, plus it would make me feel more accomplished ;P I'm also skeptical of the nutritional value of anything packaged. If it turns out, I'll post the recipe.
Speaking of nutritional... I just watched this documentary called Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead. It was actually pretty interesting. Makes ya think how easy and quick it can be to "reboot your system" and lose a ton of weight (if applicable) or just get much healthier. Obviously it probably wouldn't be smart for someone of my size to fast and have nothing but fresh fruit and vegetable juice, but it certainly wouldn't hurt to add that in!
Still cranking out the paracord bracelets, hit me up if you're interested. I've also made kitty collars, and let me tell ya, they're pretty darn cute ;)
And Annie made a great model.... Tinkerbell is prettier, but I couldn't find her and didn't suppose she'd stand still for a picture at all, haha.
I kinda love my job. Really, caring for and helping animals all day... not too bad. It's sad at times, and frustrating at times, and tiring at times... but also a lot of fun. :)
I have been cracking my knuckles and popping my back and neck for really as long as I can remember. With some strong discouragement from Josh and after looking into some of the effects of doing it, I'm making an effort to stop. It's hard because it's such a HABIT, and also because it does hurt when I don't pop it. But I've already noticed that I feel like I need to pop them less and that they hurt less. My back is sore a lot, and I've found that some yoga moves can realign my spine and make me feel much better. I don't do it often, but I'd like to get back into it.
I think that's enough randomness for now.
Love and peace,
Emma

Online store!
Josh and I realized that some people who may be interested in a bracelet or other paracord product may not know us personally or may not live locally. We are looking into online store options, including Etsy. I made an Etsy store for us last night, so if you have an Etsy account this is a really easy way to order a bracelet from us! Just contact us on Etsy or with a comment here or on Facebook to let us know your size and the color/s you want, then add the item to your cart and pay with PayPal or a card! Even if you're not an Etsy member, you can easily and quickly register in order to buy from us on Etsy. This is the link to our Etsy store.
One other random thing... Saturday when we were hiking, we found this random wooden flute in a crocheted sleeve...
And I'm pretty sure I found the guy who lost it........
Just sayin'.

Forever can never be long enough for me to feel like I've had long enough with you
This will be a short post, as I'm waiting for Josh to pick me up for church. I don't really have that much to say, either, but I'm sure I'll think of stuff, I always do.
"Thing" is a very nondescriptive word... I wonder if "stuff" is better or worse?
It's raining!! That means it's above freezing!
I don't think I ever actually decide what to wear. I just run out of time to keep trying stuff. Oh, there's that "stuff".
My mom has an obsession with birds. There are 6 pictures of birds on the wall in this room alone. It's a little creepy. But not as creepy as the giant cow poster hanging in the next room.
This is probably going to be the most boring post ever. I'm sorry, readers.
Okay, I better go. I'll write longer (and hopefully more interesting) next time.
Ciao!

When Love is Love and When You are Young
I'm not usually one to complain about snow. And I didn't think I would. But this is crazy! I don't remember ever having a winter with so much snow or such cold temperatures. It doesn't bother me for a short amount of time... but all these snow days, and record days for my friends having car wrecks are starting to get old. It is pretty though. I just wish it wasn't dangerous. :)
So I have to say I'm actually kind of pleasantly surprised that people seem to be coming here. Shelby is the only one who leaves me comments, but my page views and followers have been steadily going up, so thanks everyone! By the way, you can all comment even if you don't have an account. Also, if you don't want to take the time to comment I've added little buttons at the bottom of each post that you can check to indicate your response. This just lets me know people have read it and what they think :) I know it's cut off a little right now but I'm working on that.
Yesterday I did some winter cleaning, I guess you could say. Maybe I'm just anxious for spring, haha. Actually I'm thinking summer... 75 degrees, swimsuits and shorts and lazy days and sunburns... ahhh :) I can't wait. But anyways, back to the point. I went through the cedar chest that I have at the end of my bed and I couldn't believe what was in there. I threw away two bags full of junk and got it all organized. The stuff was crazy, though... some of it I had no idea why I'd kept, some of it brought back memories, like drafts and drawings for a book a friend and I were determined to write several years ago.
Another thing that bothers me about all this snow is that I've been cooped up too much! I get really bored when I'm in the house all day. I work out on the Wii Fit, clean, do a little homework... it just gets boring. Yesterday Josh (my boyfriend) rescued me when he got off work though. We went to WalMart.... I know that doesn't sound too exciting, but it's way better than sitting around the house all day! haha :) Oh yeah... another bad thing about snow: busted pipes. I went outside yesterday and found water running down the ditch and the sound of rushing water... which isn't really normal in below freezing temps. Then I found the source: water gushing from a busted pipe on the side of the house. Fortunately it was just the pipes to the sprinkler system and the landlord got it fixed pretty soon.
I've posted a few things on eBay lately. Random things I've never used and never will. I was surprised what will sell on eBay! haha I really didn't think anyone would find, much less buy, that stuff.
Here is a random picture of Josh and I on a little island when we went kayaking last week.
Alright I think that's all for today. Te amo!

Long time no write
Yes, this is very random considering I haven't been on in over a year.
Why am I on now? I don't know. But I am(:
Blogs are kind of cool. Even though I haven't blogged in over a year.
Does anyone still blog? I'm out of the blogging loop haha(:
Maybe I'll start blogging again... hmmm.....
